So eventually things are gonna get serious. And it's gonna be hard since T. stays touring and I stay not being a famous touring DJ. So I'll probably go on tour with Taylor to keep her company and blah, blah, etc. We'll be whipping around Europe on the ill tour bus checking out churches and museums and holding hands and resting our heads on one another's shoulders and whatever. Really cute stuff. But mostly we'll be posted up on the bus watching music videos and talking nonsense for hours on end. Which for me for me will mean blasting Nicki Minaj videos on repeat and badgering 13 about why she felt the need to do a track with B.o.B. It'll be more fun than it sounds. Promise.

So my friend Alex recently went to some mixology class. Thing. Where like. They teach you how to make a bunch of drinks that are super yummy or whatever, whatever. And he was all, "This would be a great first date!" And I was all, "I can't afford that. And 13 doesn't strike me as much of a drinker." I think Taylor and I would have fun at Build-A-Bear, though. And afterwards? Milkshakes! I haven't had a milkshake in freaking ages. Also. Ice cream sandwiches. I'd been wanting an ice cream sandwich for a very long minute. And I got one at this restaurant on Thursday. And yo. Like. It was good. But not great. And I really, really needed it to be great. What were we talking about? Build-A-Bear? Throwing two straws in a milkshake and sharing it with Taylor Swift? Jeez, what a dream.

Good suggestion, reader! Gift-giving has always been a struggle for me. For example. My second girlfriend and I exchanged Christmas gifts. I thought it went well. I gave her earrings, she gave me something, we probably held hands and snuck into a Rated R movie and then had our parents drive us home. This was like sixth grade, I dunno, I don't remember. But what I do remember is that she didn't have pierced ears. Which of course I didn't realize until she told me two years later after a traumatic middle school breakup. Whoopsies!

Anyways, I'd like to think that I've grown since then. Matured. Become less of a self-involved meanie. But still, what do you get a girl like 13? I mean, she can buy everything she'd ever want. And her fans give her awesome, heartfelt stuff, like, all of the time. You know? So I think I might wanna check out her past. Find something that she'd thought was gone. Lost. Like maybe she had some doll or something when she was a little girl, right? And she lost it. Thinks about it fondly. And I hunt one down. Painstaking effort. Find one. Have to travel to Minnesota or something to check it out. The owner (who is obviously elderly) won't let me have it. But I tell him or her about about how much I love 13, so he or she is finally like, "OMG! Young people in love! How cute!" And then he or she gives it to me for free and I give it to T. and she makes the Taylor Swift Shocked Face and loves me forever and always and we get married and live happily ever after.

Really don't wanna hit a sophomore slump here. My first date with 13 was such an indisputable success, you know? For round two I'd really love to go to one of those spots where you get to paint plates or cups or ashtrays or toothbrush holders or whatever, etc. And then they fire it up in a furnace thing and it gets all glossy and awesome. Anyways. I'd really like to go in on some pottery, but I feel like there would be too much pressure to pull a Ghost, you know? Not that I wouldn't wanna hold T. ever-so-tenderly. I'd love to. But I mean, yo. This is just date number two. We're still flirting shyly, cracking jokes (badly), etc. I don't wanna scare her off by being super needy, you know? So yea. Alright. I'm starting a new series here on Panda Toes. It's called "Greg tells you about different dates he wants to go on with Taylor Swift and puts awesome but unrelated songs at the end of each post." Or something like that. I dunno, it's a working title.

So the first date goes down in Nashville. 13 and I meet up at her crib around the way. I give her some flowers. Nothing too big, though. I wanna see her cat (which is simply adorable), but I'm too nervous to ask her if I can come in. So we head out. The car ride is kind of awkward since I'm a shy guy. An awkward guy. But whatever, she's super nice so she doesn't call me out on it. We go to a Vanderbilt baseball game. I've brought Vandy hats and shades for both of us. We'll bend the bills like whoa and pull them down really far over our faces. You know how celebrities do when they want anonymity? Yea, like that. We'll sit in crummy seats and just kinda laze about, not really caring all too much about watching the game. We'll have some sodas (Dr. Pepper for me, obviously) and hot dogs and I'll make a bunch of jokes and look away bashfully after every punch line because I'm scared I'm blowing it.

I'm approximately 100% certain that T. and I are gonna have a wonderful time on this date. I can't wait.

So Scott Melker and I did that "Call Me Jay-Z" mash-up music thing. And we had fun doing it and it was pretty well-received so we were all, "Aight, let's do a bunch of these. Or something." Holy wow. Times Square. Oh my goodness, Times Square. You are indisputably the worst. With people stopping every three or four steps to take a picture.
