Weezy, Cool Kidz, The Ting Tings Remixes

So I've been a little inactive the last week or so because of a quick visit I paid Greg and the good people over at Dartmouth College. I feel like the entire trip was a blur that I'm starting to get out of, and the real world just isn't the place to be, so back to the internet I go.

This first track is making a whole lot of noise all around. A good friend of mine first sent this video to me about a week ago and luckily I've been able to find the mp3 since then (even if it's just a crappy Sirius rip). This dude Ryan Leslie went on some radio show and basically just tore up Lil Wayne's smash "Lollipop". If it weren't for the dude yelling in the background (hip hop radio DJs are the fucking worst) this would be the sexiest song of all time, but since I just used one of the lines he's screaming I guess I have no choice but to thank him.

The next track I picked up off Palms Out Sounds' latest Remix Sunday compilation. It's a remix of our dudes Kidz In The Hall's smash "Drivin Down The Block". This song has been on repeat since I downloaded it because frankly El-P just does it right; he gives the track a darker, slower, Clipse-ish vibe. Dope as hell.

Last and definitely not least, we got another track from Palms Out. Apparently Scandinavian DJ Kasper Bjørke has been making a whole lot of noise with his latest remixes and upcoming album In Gumbo. This particular track, a remix of The Ting Tings' "That's Not My Name", has just got that perfect mix of sweetness, bass, Simian Mobile Disco, and it's got enough beats per minute to make you want to get off your ass and get back into the real world.

Coolest Video Ever? Probably Not, But It's Hot.

Every once in a great while I post something that has pretty much nothing to do with music. Usually it's about the Dallas Mavericks, Ohio State Buckeyes, or Kansas Jayhawks. However, the Hornets dropped the Mavs like nobody's business and O.S.U. got spanked by yet another S.E.C. team in the B.C.S. National Championship Game. At least my Jayhawks came out on top! Boss life! But the point is that this has something to do with neither sports nor music - it's just absurdly legit.

No description here, 'cause I can't do what I'm seeing justice with my words. You're going to have to watch it for yourself, and I'm sure you'll be happy you did once it's all said and done. So, so legit.

MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

In other news, I'm DJing at A.D. (O.M.G., like isn't that the Animal House fraternity? Not according to Steven Tyler.) tonight and Sig Ep tomorrow. I'd love to see you there, but you should probably be at B.G. anyways - best house ever. Word.

Three New Videos - Man Man, T.P.C., The Kills

Three new videos. Three good videos. Three semi-new songs. Three good songs. Let's do this.

The Kills are pretty flippin' sweet. I guess people aren't too into 'em, but I honestly can't understand why. "U.R.A. Fever" is music to my ears (you see what I'm sayin') and their new single, "Last Day of Magic," ain't half bad either. Sexual tension, sexual tension, sexual tension - that's all I've got to say.

On the other hand, everyone (and I mean everyone) loves Tokyo Police Club. And with good reason - all of their songs take being catchy to a whole new level. This video, however, isn't too good. I mean I guess it's cool and all, but the MTV video player is just so incompatible with my computer that I absolutely couldn't deal with it. At all. So I guess the video's fine, but my viewing experience was garbage. I don't wanna hear a good song like this chopped up for buffering stalls. Jeez.

And finally there's a new Man Man flick. Their video interview with Pitchfork reeked of all sorts of disgusting hipster-ness, but this jam and the accompanying visuals totally make up for it. Trippy stuff going around all over the place? Check. Dude stabbed with a banana? Check. Girl cheating on her man with a really greasy lookin' bro? Check. What more could you want?

New IAMSOUND, T.T.C. (Kinda), Ratatat

IAMSOUND Records is killing it yet again, y'all. Sunny Day Sets Fire's new album is now available via iTunes (and it'll drop physically on July 8th) and the Black Ghosts are back with a new mix tape. Have a listen:

EDIT: My computer can't seem to stay on the Internet long enough to upload the entire mix, so hit up the Missing Toof link.

2. Armand Van Helden - Je T’aime (Switch Mix)
3. S.M.D. - Cliktrak
4. Ben Westbeech - Hang Around (Karisma’s Kaytronic Dub)

22. The Black Ghosts - Any Way You Choose to Give It (Extended Mix)
23. The Black Ghosts - Any Way You Choose to Give it (Fake Blood Mix)

On top of that, Men Women and Children's Nick Hook (that'd be the keyboardist) just dropped a DJ mix for y'all to hear. It's not your standard Panda Toes electro banger affair, so be sure to give it a listen.

Nick Hook - Nick Hook Meets Taste (Y.S.I.)
Nick Hook - Nick Hook Meets Taste (zShare)

1. Hercules and Love Affair - Blind (Frankie Knuckles Remix)
2. Claude von Stroke - Beware of the Bird (Dirtybird) Original Mix

15. Men Women and Children - Dance in my Blood (Justin V./Tyler Pope Remix)
16. Kid Cudi - Day and Night

And now for some bonuses that have nothing to do with IAMSOUND. First up is a new cut off of Cuizinier's Pour Les Filles Volume III (which just so happened to drop today). I don't even need to tell you anything the musical aspects of this song to get you hyped - Teki Latex, Cuizi's T.T.C. partner in crime, joins in on the fun and Orgasmic samples a sound effect and a quote from Lost. Game over. Fluo Kids is what's up.

Cuizinier - "The Good Guys (Feat. Teki Latex) (Y.S.I.)
Cuizinier - "The Good Guys (Feat. Teki Latex) (zShare)

And there's a new Ratatat cut floating around these days too and Gorilla vs. Bear upped it for our listening pleasure. It's called "Shiller," and I can't see it being anything but an album opener for an upcoming L.P. I mean, this ditty absolutely perfected the art of building tension and readying the listener for an epic release. Ugh. I absolutely cannot wait for LP3 to drop.

Streetz > Music

Streetz is awesome. I don't think that's his MySpace page, but my internet is crapping out on me and that's the first thing that came up when I did a search on Google for "Streetz MySpace." Whatever. Anywho, I've got two songs for you (one good and one great) so that you can see how wonderful the dude is too.

This first track isn't my favorite of his. I mean it's good (otherwise I wouldn't waste my time upping it), but not great. So why throw it up instead of another cut? 'Cause you can download his latest mix tape in its entirety for free, but this track isn't on it. Plus, I've gotta have a big name guest or else people on Hype Machine will totally blow this post off and nobody will hear the next track (which is unbelievably beautiful). Don't believe me? Yesterday these were the top two tracks:

"L.E.S. Aristes" vs. "D.A.N.C.E."
"Gimme More" vs. "D.A.N.C.E."

Word. So I'm selling out in hopes that T.I.'s name will intrigue Hype Machines sloozes and thus get them to check out the following jam.

Streetz - "See Me In Ya City (Feat. T.I.)" (Y.S.I.)
Streetz - "See Me In Ya City (Feat. T.I.)" (zShare)

Now for the good - actually, great - stuff. I love the intro. I love the beat. I love the verses. I basically love everything about this track. I've played it on my radio show, put it on CDs, and mixed it into my sets. I honestly can't wait until y'all are feelin' this cut too. This thing makes me give up dance music for hip-hop permanently.

Streetz - "Chevy (Waffle House)" (Y.S.I.)

So, so good.

Je Veux Te Voir -- Et Je T'ai Vu YELLE

It's no secret that we love French music over here at Panda Toes. It's also no secret that we love getting drunk and going to concerts. Consequently, this post regarding the Yelle gig in New York City last weekend should not surprise you.

The show was opened by NYC-based Heartsrevolution, and they rocked a short but satisfying set. It was a half hour of thrashing, flailing, sweating, and screaming... Basically an accurate physical interpretation of their music. Pretty fuckin' fun.

I particularly liked the hot pink microphone cord. Heartsrevolution also sells really kickass "CYOA" t-shirts, but of course I was too broke to buy one at the show. Le sigh.

Heartsrevolution - "CYOA (Flosstadamus Remix)" (Y.S.I.)
Heartsrevolution - "CYOA (Flosstadamus Remix)" (zShare)

Miss Yelle took the stage in a stunning gold jacket and staple patterned one-piece. Her performance was high-energy, her voice sounded great, and her drummer is really hot. She stormed through just about all of Pop-Up, and her live show sounded just as clear and bouncy as her studio work. I think my favourite of the night was "Tristesse / Joie." Ace song. God bless French pop music.

Yelle is quite multi-talented. Things got pretty crazy when she flew center stage and started going bat shit on the drums...

And of course there was plenty of neon to go around.

I also learned that Kanye West's wanna-be-as-fresh-as-Daft-Punk glasses have become an international hit.

I much prefer those shades on Yelle.

Yelle - "Je Veux Te Voir" (Y.S.I.)

All in all, a successful evening. Greg, I'm sorry you had to miss out on seeing in person one of your French crushes. She looked fiiiiine in those yellow Reebok hi-tops.......

Cheers

New Annie, Dr. Dre, And Mullyman

\
I am so good to y'all. I have three - count 'em - new songs for your ears. Granted you probably have at least one of 'em already, but still. You get the point. Isn't new, free music the best thing ever? Other than a paycheck so you can go buy some new, non-free music, that is.

This first song has been all over every blog in the universe already (Disco Dust being the first, as per usual), but I like it so I might as well post it up anyways. I've already told y'all fifteen trillion times that I can't wait for the new Annie album, and here's further evidence. I mean I don't like this remix as much as I do the original ditty, but the fact that I don't have to watch YouTube to hear this version is a definite plus. That's not to say that this edit is bad - in fact, it's quite good and I've spun it well over fifteen times since I snatched it up yesterday - but rather that the original is delicious. I mean, when's the last time you heard something from Get Shakes that wasn't legit? Plus, this thing's gonna get heaps better when it's high enough quality to mix into a set.

Annie - "I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me (Get Shakes Remix)" (Y.S.I.)
Annie - "I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me (Get Shakes Remix)" (zShare)

Next up is a cut by some lad called Mullyman. I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about Baltimore. In fact, I'm not even sure you'd call this B-more. But I do know that I like this (a lot, as it were) and that y'all should all give it a listen. Props to the Hollerboard on this one. A fun beat, opportunities to clap, unnecessary city shout-outs, and smooth rapping make this a song the hipster contingent will swoon (see: dance awkwardly) over.

Mullyman - "Party Walk" (Y.S.I.)
Mullyman - "Party Walk" (zShare)

Next up is a "Still Dre" remix courtesy of Sydney's Tenzin. I like that he toys with the pace and keeps both the instrumental and a cappella relatively intact, 'cause the O.G. was darn near flawless. I still think the Megasoid effort is the best edit of this song I've heard, but this one's quite a bit more accessible and it'll be immeasurably easier to mix into a set. I mean heck if that ending won't be one of the easiest cuts ever to transition out of. Good looks for a good song.

Dr. Dre - "Still Dre (Tenzin Remix)" (Y.S.I.)
Dr. Dre - "Still Dre (Tenzin Remix)" (zShare)

P.S. I'm listening to Tegan and Sara's The Con right now, and I'm coming to the realization that I don't really like most of the songs all that much. However, "The Con" and "Back in Your Head" are so out-of-this-world that I'm totally down with the gals. For real.

New Bun B And Lil' Wayne, Chromeo, Neon Coyote

When I saw Chromeo at Field Day in Sydney, the dudes were rockin' those crazy leg keyboards from the Fancy Footwork album cover. Apparently that's not where the fetish ends - their new video features dancing robotic legs (sans upper body) scooting around and about. Granted I dunno how the video ends 'cause Dartmouth's internet is rubbish and MySpace has a terrible video player, but it was a funny flick while it lasted.

CHROMEO - Fancy Footwork

And Bun B's back with a new cut featuring Lil' Wayne. I dunno how in the world he got Weezy to agree to do a guest verse ('cause it's not like homie signs on to every track ever or anything), but boy am I ever glad he did. This is some good Southern hip-hop with a drawling instrumental. Yea, that's Nah Right with the world premier.

Bun B - "Damn I'm Cold (Feat. Lil' Wayne)" (Y.S.I.)
Bun B - "Damn I'm Cold (Feat. Lil' Wayne)" (zShare)

And on an ending note, Neon Coyote is officially heading up to Dartmouth. He'll be playing Sig Ep next Thursday night (May 15th) as will I, so make sure you roll through. Check it:

Lil Wayne, The Game, DMX, Barack Obama, 50 Cent and RAC

So I guess today is a day to get you all updated on what's going on and what's been catching our eye in the ever-growing blogosphere. And while Greg is busy mixin on the radiowaves (head over here nowwwww) I'll throw a little more news your way.

First off, Rap-Up got the official track listing for Tha Carter III and although this may not be that exciting for most of you, look at it this way: Tha Carter III is actually coming out, it features production from Kanye, Swizz Beats, and David Banner, and this song won't be on it. BOOM!

1. 3 Peat
2. Mr. Carter (featuring Jay-Z)
3. A Milli
4. Got Money (featuring T-Pain)
5. Comfortable (featuring Babyface)
6. Phone Home
7. Dr. Carter
8. Tie My Hands (featuring Robin Thicke)
9. Shoot Me Down (featuring D.Smih)
10. Playin’ With Fire (featuring Betty Wright)
11. Lollipop (featuring Static Major)
12. L.A. (featuring Brisco and Busta Rhymes)
13. Good Girl Gone Bad
14. You Ain’t Got Nuthin’ On Me (featuring Fabolous and Juelz Santana)
15. Let the Beat Build
16. Whip It
17. Misunderstood

Next we got some news from another Summer heavyweight, The Game. In a recent interview he did with Power 106, he revealed a little more about his upcoming album LAX and honestly the reason I'm posting this is because apparently "Big Dreams" might not even make it to the album because he's got better records to throw on there, which is a bold statement because if you want my opinion (which you don't), "Big Dreams" is one of the best rap songs I've heard in a real long time. Also the dude seems incredibly down to earth and that tattoo on his face seems to be growing on its own. BOOM!

Next up is an interview with DMX that a buddy of mine (who probably isn't reading this, so shout-outs will be withheld) sent me. This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read, really DMX? Really?! Either he's one of the funniest dudes alive, or he's really lost it. BOOM!
Are you following the presidential race?
Not at all.

You’re not? You know there’s a Black guy running, Barack Obama and then there’s Hillary Clinton.
His name is Barack?!

Barack Obama, yeah.
Barack?!

Barack.
What the fuck is a Barack?! Barack Obama. Where he from, Africa?

Yeah, his dad is from Kenya.
Barack Obama?

Yeah.
What the fuck?! That ain’t no fuckin’ name, yo. That ain’t that nigga’s name. You can’t be serious. Barack Obama. Get the fuck outta here.

You’re telling me you haven’t heard about him before.
I ain’t really paying much attention.

I mean, it’s pretty big if a Black…
Wow, Barack! The nigga’s name is Barack. Barack? Nigga named Barack Obama. What the fuck, man?! Is he serious? That ain’t his fuckin’ name. Ima tell this nigga when I see him, “Stop that bullshit. Stop that bullshit” [laughs] “That ain’t your fuckin’ name.” Your momma ain’t name you no damn Barack.

[...]

Even funnier is the guy laughing in the background during this video in which 50 Cent gets his chain snatched during a performance in Angola. BOOM!

And finally, I gotta part with something not hip hop related. I stumbled upon a phenomenal RAC remix over at I Guess I'm Floating and had to share. It's off their new EP which you can download FO FREE over here and has been bumpin from my speakers on straight repeat. BOOOOOM!

New Soulja Boy And Three 6 Mafia Songs, Kidz In The Hall Interview

Before I get around to schooling y'all on a bit of more mainstream hip-hop, first things first: there's a new Panda Toes Radio Show tonight from 10 p.m. E.S.T. until 12 p.m. E.S.T. It's gonna be awesome. Here's what went down last week:

Atmosphere - "Sunshine"
Santogold - "Say Aha"
PRGz - "Wood Grain"
Streets - "Don't Mug Yourself"
Usher - "Love in this Club (DJ Spider and Mr. Best Remix)"
Streetz - "Chevy (Waffle House)"
Yung Guerillas - "I'm Gettin' Money"
Three 6 Mafia - "I'd Rather"
C.R.S. - "Us Placers"
Adam Tensta - "Before U Know It"
David Banner - "Suicide Doors (Feat. U.G.K.)"
Mickey Factz - "Rockin' 'N' Rollin' (Feat. the Cool Kids)"
Kidz in da Hall - "Low End Theory (Feat. Pusha T and the Cool Kids"
C.S.S. - "Rat is Dead (Rage)"
Tag Team - "Whoomp!! There It Is!! (Acid Wash Remix)"
Late of the Pier - "Focker"
Norwegian Recycling - "Ben is Chasing Beautiful Girls"
Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit (Patrick Alavi Rerox)"
Feist - "I Feel It All (Escort Remix)"
The Cars - "Hello Again - (Fashen Edit)"
Cut Copy - "Hearts on Fire"
Lykke Li - "Dance Dance Dance"
Annie - "I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me"

So Soulja Boy is back with yet another album. Though SouljaBoyTellEm.com is still creeping its way towards platinum, the dude's already keen on churning out another disc. Perhaps not the best marketing plan, but whatever - dude got himself boss tickets from the Wizards, so I guess he can't be doing that badly. The first single off of iSouljaBoy is "iDance" and it's, to be entirely honest, underwhelming. You know it's not a good look when the most exciting part of your song is when you briefly sample a past hit of yours. But I guess the tune's getting a decent amount of hype elsewhere (good hype, that is), so I'll let y'all decide for yourselves. You can pick up the mp3 over at Notes From a Different Kitchen.

The other day Kagan (you know, the other Panda Toe?) emailed me something that looked a lil' bit like this:
Subject: Is it bad...
Body: That I like the new Three 6 Mafia song?

To which I responded that no, liking anything Triple 6 puts out is definitely a good thing. Even if it's a ridiculously low-quality video that just features a bunch of dancing girls. 'Cause they're good looking girls, and those are high quality beats. What's not to like?

I love Kidz in the Hall. And I would love Karma Loop if I could afford to cop just one fitted from there. And maybe a pair of kicks. Possibly a hoodie. Regardless, it's safe to say that when K.L. interviewed K.I.T.H. I was quite happy. The interview's a wee bit random, and it's thus awesome in my book. Do watch.

Part one:

Part two:

Be sure to scoot by Attorney Street to check out some of the filthiest Reeboks in the history of man.

Like I said - P.T.R.S. at 10 p.m. E.S.T.

New Jeezy Featuring Kanye + Three Videos

Before I get to rambling about videos and whatnot, be sure to head over to Rezidue to check out the new Jeezy cut featuring Kanye. The chorus is pretty dull and I don't understand why Yeezy went all T-Pain on us, but it's still a good song. I mean, it is Jeezy after all. Go Hawks!

Now for the visuals. I like "4 Minutes." It's a great song. Timbaland never drops the ball when it comes to singles, and when he teams up with superstars like Justin Timberlake and Madonna you know the final product is gonna be great. But the video is an entirely different story. I guess the effects and whatnot are pretty cool, but I still don't dig it; all I could do the whole way through was wonder how long Timbo's been on steroids, why Madonna still dresses so skimpily and dances like a slooze, and how J.T. can settle for hitting the back seat of a used car with a gal darn near double his age when he's one of the biggest pop stars alive.

Annie's new video, on the other hand, is quite enjoyable. I've loved "I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me" since I first heard it on her MySpace player, and the flick only got me more excited for her upcoming Don't Stop. Annie dancing. Girls around her dancing. Corny but cute props. What could possibly go wrong? All I can say is purple makeup is not a good look but chilling outside with light blue heart sunglasses most certainly is. I don't care if you're a decade older than me - that is a good look of epic proportions.

The next video is pretty simple: it's an iPod commercial with a yet-to-leak Ting Tings track. How did these kids get on such an enormous company's advertisement without having a guitar player that can really play guitar? And how am I so shameless that I'm still madly in love with their music?

Best O' The Blogs, Kinda - 5/2/08

I'm on that grind again. I've spent the last few days sitting in an earth sciences lab staring blankly at various rocks and minerals trying to figure out what each of them is called, where they were formed, etc. Whine, whine, whine. Complain, complain, complain. Let's get down to the good stuff.

I'm gonna start this one off with a bang. A big, ridiculous, rainy, grungy, dirty, and possibly suicidal bang. Yep, I've uncovered (see: my boy sent me) a filthy Nirvana remix. Some dude name Patrick Alavi was cocky enough to think he could take an epic tune such as "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and make a banging dance cut out of it. And boy was he ever right. I love electro. I love Nirvana. And boy oh boy do I ever love this electro remix of Nirvana. Hot dang. Just listen for yourself, 'cause I'm at a loss for words:

Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit (Patrick Alavi Rerox)" (Y.S.I.)
Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit (Patrick Alavi Rerox)" (zShare)

Next up is a remix of Miley Cyrus's ditty "See You Again." I've never actually heard the O.G. (that term is so out of place here it's ridiculous), but this D.veloped remix is off the hook. I've heard both rabid Miley fans and persistent (perhaps violent) detractors swear by this edit, so that should tell you something.

Miley Cyrus - "See You Again (D.veloped Extended Remix)" (Y.S.I.)
Miley Cyrus - "See You Again (D.veloped Extended Remix)" (zShare)

And finally (here's the "Best O' The Blogs" part), let's all thank Derek over at Good Weather for Airstrikes for putting up this new Late of the Pier jam. I played this song (yes, the instrumental) on my radio show this past Monday and had throngs of emails asking me to share this, so here it is. So, so good. This thing just wreaks of LA Priest. Which is, of course, a good thing.

Late of the Pier - "Focker (Instrumental)" (Y.S.I.)
Late of the Pier - "Focker (Instrumental)" (zShare)

I wanted to write more about the songs themselves, but it's easier for me to spit out stupid semi-anecdotes and I need to leave for my Spanish drill in a wee bit. Lo siento, chicos y chicas.

New Justice Music Video

So I'm pretty sure this is an official music video for the third release off of Justice's . The video depicts a group of French hoodlums (adorned with "†" jackets) walking around the streets of France smashing cars, beating up anyone who gets in their way, stealing old ladies' purses, and causing a general commotion before finally turning on the cameraman himself. As graffic as it is disturbing, I doubt this video will be getting much airplay, but it's definitely worth a watch.

New Crystal Castles, Van She, And Van She Tech Remix

Crystal Castles' video for "Courtship Dating" is not extraordinary. It's not revolutionary. And it's not inspiring. But it is awesomely enjoyable. For starters, the song itself is too infectious for words. I mean Timbo jacked the instrumental, so that alone should tell you it's catchy-like-whoa. For another, it's quite well-produced. The whole thing is outstandingly sleek, smooth, sexy, and various other adjectives starting with the letter "s." And of course it doesn't hurt that Alice is hyper-cute. Whether or not she's one of those girls hipster boys find attractive largely 'cause she rocks in an awesome group is up for debate.

But heck if I'm gonna leave you with just one new video for an awesome song today - here's the flick for Van She's "Strangers" from their forthcoming V. It's a similar story here - pretty much just the band performing the song in the dark. Except this time around it's a bro with a sketchy 'stache singing and not a pretty girl. But the music's still excellent, so no complaints here. At all.

And since y'all are all greedy jerks, I've got the Van She Tech rework of the cut available below. This one might be a bit odd for some of you electro cats - this is hardly a V.S.T. interpretation. How so? Well, it's just a wee bit more tame. Still fantastic, but less intense than previous efforts. See for yourself:

Van She - "Strangers (Van She Tech Rework)" (Y.S.I.)
Van She - "Strangers (Van She Tech Rework)" (zShare)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Nike is killing it with their ad campaigns yet again. Try to tell me that this isn't some next level stuff.

EDIT 2:
Apparently blogs aren't allowed to host this. It's a free download at the Modular Australia page (which I can't seem to get to - perhaps it's only available to Aussies), so you should probably just scoot on over there to enjoy this jam.

Sleek, Sexy New Purple Crush Video And Remix

Today started off splendidly. I slept well, the shower water was consistently hot (it tends to fluctuate randomly between frigid and scalding), all of my clothes were clean after an epic laundry sesh yesterday afternoon, and my breath was fresh. Then I went to the library to dummy myself with econometrics knowledge. After downing three pages of oh-so-intriguing text book writing, a concert began. Ten or so people were singing, talking on a microphone, and shouting loudly enough for students two floors above to hear their every word through thick glass windows. In the library. And I was heated.

So now I'm gonna do something that'll make me happier: post about Purple Crush. The first song I heard featuring the duo was "Phantom Shopping," a nice blend of their "Shopping on the Dancefloor" and Justice's "Phantom." And now the former is finally seeing an official release. The song is cute and bubbly instrumentally, but the vocal work and lyrics makes me think Isla very well might be a sexual predator. Which is the exact formula for a bumpin' track!

I still can't believe those two individuals are married (or perhaps just engaged) - hipsters aren't supposed to be committal. Their kids are gonna be rocking infant fitteds and baby Dunks by age two. Guaranteed. Here's a nice remix courtesy of Shir Khan.
